Do you share your true self with others in your life?*
- I try to, but I am still working on being true with myself.
- Yes. I’ve found it’s much easier to stop pretending, and just be. I’m the same person with friends or at work as am I with myself.
- No. I appear happy by the world’s standards, but that is not how I truly feel.
- With close friends and family, sure, but I don’t think it’s appropriate to bring all my fears, frustrations, and vulnerabilities into the workplace.

What approach do you take to achieving your personal and professional goals?*
- I focus on learning and growing. I have clear goals, but on my path to achieving them, I care more about progress than perfection.
- I believe it’s more the journey—not the destination—that counts. I think setting clear goals leaves you vulnerable to disappointment.
- I have set goals for myself, but I am easily distracted and have trouble making progress.
- I am a self-proclaimed perfectionist. I expect only the highest quality results from myself and those around me. Anything less is not acceptable.

What are you most likely to say to yourself when things get hard?*
- “Give yourself a break! You’re only human!”
- “If you don’t push yourself, who will?”
- “Maybe you’re pushing toward the wrong goals. It shouldn’t be this hard.”
- “The harder things are, the more likely your breakthrough is just around the corner.”

How do you respond to non-believers and negative influences in your life?*
- I believe in the “lifting while climbing” approach to success. I seek help in moving past my own non-believers, and I do the same for others.
- I got to where I am today through my own hard work and perseverance. I don’t entertain help from others, positive or negative.
- I do my best to ignore the negative influence of others, but I’m not always successful.

Out of nowhere you receive a call. A contact from a recent networking event would like to discuss a job with you. You are a perfect fit for the position, but for you, it’s a lateral move, it’s based across the country, and it will be extremely challenging. How do you respond?*
- I am flattered you thought of me for this role, but I am comfortable with the position I hold now.
- I am excited for the challenge, but hesitant to move across the country if the job is only a lateral move. Can you tell me more?
- I am in search of a promotion, not a lateral move.
- I can’t wait to learn more so I can explain what I may have to offer the role.

When was the last time you paused to take stock of your life’s passions and purpose?*
- For me, this is a regular exercise, which has allowed me to integrate both into my personal and professional life.
- I have done this occasionally over the last few years, but not recently.
- My career and lifestyle don’t afford me the time or opportunity to stop and do this.

Who is in your support network?*
- My family and friends serve as my foundation of support. I do not have a professional support network.
- I am part of a support network for others, but I don’t feel I need one for myself. My talent, hard work, and ability stands on its own.
- I have anchor relationships at work, at home, and in my personal life—people who help me, cheer me on, challenge me, and hold me accountable.

Think back to your latest “crash moment”—a defining moment in your past that stopped you in your tracks and possibly changed the course of your life. How did you respond?*
- I never get too high or too low. I’m the same person now that I was before my latest crash moment.
- It was a moment of enlightenment. It completely changed my perspective and helped me learn about myself.
- I don’t think I’ve had a moment like this in my life. If I have, I don’t remember it.
- It transformed me, and not for the better. It knocked my life completely off track.
